I’m a Pan-African humanist, fascinated with human origins and history and how the past shapes the present. I fled from a Nigerian dictatorship in 1997 after being severely beaten and undertook the arduous overland journey, as far south as I could go, in search of a better life. I found it in Cape Town.
I now have the pleasure of sharing Cape Town and surrounding areas as a Registered Tour Guide, leading Cape Town guided walking tours and day trips looking through an African lens. I’m a fan of Pan-African food and fascinated with Africa’s origin history and the innate connection I feel with indigenous groups and their social systems. Each tour develops differently according to interests, but what you can be sure of, is a fascinating and fresh look at Cape Town; its history, people, food and natural beauty, through African eyes.
